I noticed that there were quite a few errors, and was hoping that this was the problem, and that I could find out how to fix it. I searched around a little and looked at the log. Today, when I click “start monitoring” like I usually do, it won’t monitor, nor does it record. That will install FFmpeg - accept the default installation location. I use a Blue Snowball (connects by usb) for recording the audio for my podcast, and most days, it works absolutely fine with no issues. Double click on the downloaded ffmpeg-win-2.2.2.exe file to run it. I’m using version 2.0.5 and am on a Win8.1 64 bit laptop. I’m new here and not very well versed in Audacity, so I’m hoping this is a simple one for y’all.
